2016-11-13 (Day 318) Falkirk Wheel Maintenance

I went for a run today, planning to do my usual route past the Falkirk Wheel. I knew that the wheel was closed for maintenance, but what I hadn't realised was tha tthe towpath was closed some way away from the wheel.

So I ran along the towpath, and found a fance across the path. I went up the hill away from the towpath, finding myself on tiny little woodland paths leading who-knows-where.

Eventually I found my way to the wheel, and made my way back to the start point. The good thing was that I found some lovely - albeit rather muddy - new paths!
