Pentlands
Amazingly it was another glorious winter’s day so we decided to go up Allermuir and Caerketton from Redford. It was clear all day and the snow was firmer than the previous days, but still nice and powdery in places, and firmer in other places. We made our way up the north side of Allermuir by following the line of a snowboard descent, which made it easier than it might have been. We saw few people until the top of Allermuir when it was like a busy version of Princes Street in the present restrictions. The blip is the view from the top of Allermuir looking along the hills from Turnhouse to the Kips. The extra is some ice crystals we saw on the lower slopes of Allermuir.
Best on black.
