2017-02-20 (Day 051) Lnlithgow Pigeon Palace

The Linlithgow Pieon Palace or - more correctly - the Linithgow Doocot.

This was built some time in the 1500s and has 370 nest holes for pigeons. These piggeons would be farmed, fattened up to be avilable through the wintertime as food for the local gentry
