2017-02-05 (Day 036) Falkirk Tunnel

The 631 yard long Falkirk Tunnel is the longest canal tunnel in Scotland, built to hide the canal from the Forbes family who lived in the nearby Callendar House.

It was also the turning point of my run this morning, when I ran to the tunnel and back to see if I would be in any condition to go for the Alloa Half Marathon.

Well, I am glad to say that I made it there and back and have now signed up for the Alloa Half. Let's see how it goes!
