Day 308 Patience rewarded

I don't know if this is the same robin that was waiting in vain yesterday as two regularly visit our garden.  Whichever it is, he or she is no doubt very grateful that we have provided this suet filled coconut shell so that he/she can stand and feed.  In extras, a couple of very tiny rosebuds on the bush in the front garden, braving very cold weather and even a sprinkling of snow.  We have just about enough of the white stuff to ensure that the roads will become slippery and dangerous but not really enough for great photo opportunities..
Thank you to the many of you who've written so encouragingly about your own various joint replacements.  It really does make me feel more confident and is much appreciated.
