Since I possess the best shoes for dog-walking on icy paths, I took Django out at 08:15. At 08:50 I was in the "Lime Walk", and hung around until the sun lined up perfectly - at about 09:03. By then I was trying to take photos of Django leaping to catch his ball [see extra]. This is a little earlier than I'd thought previously (09:15), but then I was at the base of the "sundial", where the error in spotting the alignment will be greater. Perhaps it can change through the year - I'm a mathematician, not a physicist! I don't imagine that anyone else will be interested enough to comment!

Back home, I got down to work...
