Rhuallan House
I always admire this house when out walking particularly today in the sunshine with the detail of the stonework being highlighted.
The building is B listed. Built as a private house for William Brown, coal merchant, c.1890. In 1940 it became the local branch of the British Legion. By 1956 it was the local library and community facility. Sold to private developer in 2014. Now residential use.
