Icy Neglect

First thoughts from seeing MostlyMull's picture, were of neglect  and being left to decay.
It was a lovely looking morning, and in contrast to yesterday we had not seen crowds of people heading toward the meadows, so we put spikes on our shoes, grabbed our walking poles and headed off past the mill. Yesterdays snow looked as though it had been trampled by a football crowd, it was almost impossible to find any that had not already been walked on. At least the frost and snow meant that we didn't have to worry about the mud that we knew was under it all.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable walk.
