Life's tangled skein

2017-08-18 (Day 230) Almond Valley Viaduct

The Almond Valley Railway Viaduct is a magnificent piece of construction. 2.4km long, with 36 arches in this eastern section, then six in a separate western section, it is the longest structure on any railway in Scotland.

I do want to go back with a decent camera; this wsaa shot using the iPhone and it shows the camera's limitations.

The sun was shining brightly on the cornfield, but the sky was threatening heavy rain. I didn't hang around for long after taking the photograph!
