2017-08-27 (Day 239) Fountain Of Nineveh

I went out for a run today. I had planned that it would be around nine miles or so, but I changed the route and ended up doing over twelve. This may have been a mistake...

Anyway, the route took me through Bridge of Allan, and past this, the Fountain Of Nineveh. What a wonderful name! Apparently it was erected in the 1850s to celebrate the discoveries made in Nineveh by Sir Austin Layard, a famous archaeologist of the time
