Ae Fond Kiss

Tonight is Burns Night, an annual celebration (by some) in Scotland to commemorate the life of the bard Robert Burns. Festivities will be curtailed this evening due to the pandemic, however, it's a good excuse to have a dram.

My album of the day is "Rio" by Duran Duran". Always reminds me of flamboyant videos, yachts, exotic locations, supermodels and a sultry sax solo before reality beckons and they jumped on a plane back to Birmingham. "Rio", "Hungry Like The Wolf" and "Save A Prayer", pop songs that defined a decade.
