Male Stonechat.

Thanks so much for all the lovely hearts, stars and comments for yesterday's sunrise photo. It is a very long while since I have earned a place in the top ten on the popular page so I am very grateful.

Early this morning I was unable to get further than my driveway as the snow from yesterday was compacted in places and made the pavement and road treacherous. However, with a pair of crampons on my boots, kindly lent to me by our vicar, I was able to pop in for a very short while later in the morning, so I saw the remains of the snow and many lumps which had been snowmen. I was very happy to see this little Stonechat.
