Cold, Slippery and Snowing

I almost didn't go out because the weather was uninviting. We did get some sunshine, but lots of snow and there was a cold wind blowing.  

I pushed myself out for a walk of 30 minutes in my neighbourhood. The trees looked lovely, especially those with cones.

A bit of a blah day. Such a change from beautiful Sunday!

The highlight of my day: Listening to a recorded documentary on Neil Diamond and his career. I've always really loved his voice and songs. He turned 80 yesterday.
