2017-10-13 (Day 286) The Steamie

I was lucky enough to go out with the family this evening to see the thirtieth anniversary tour of "The Steamie", a play by Tony Roper.

This is a play that is dear to the heart of many Glaswegians, as a group of four Glasgow women chat while doing their washing in the local wash-house - the Steamie.

All five of the actors on stage did a fantastic job, with the four ladies hardly ever being off the stage.

A great night out - if you can get tickets for this tour, do!
