Village link to the world.

n a way it is perhaps a pity that we gave up flying a good many years ago.
As you can see we have trains, several each day, from the village station direct into Manchester Airport.
But we were able to use this train when setting out on our several rail holidays over the past decade.
Getting on the train here at 08.30 and getting off in Vienna at 08.30 the following morning, with a twin sleeper from Koln, was to us much more enjoyable than airport hassle and being sealed in a metal tube.
