Frost, Ice & snow!

The title sums up today perfectly!

The Top Left image of the frosty grass was taken at midday! Everything was still frozen at that point!

The temperature did rise a couple of degrees in the afternoon ..... so we decided we would head out for a walk .... hoping it wouldn't be too slippery!

We headed off up the road ...... Top Right image is the farmer's field which has been under water & had frozen .... you can see the thick ice at the edges & thinner ice where the water is deeper in the centre!

As we carried on up the road it began snowing ....... the Bottom images are of it snowing ..... which became a blizzard for a short while .... then eased back to a gentle flurry to accompany the rest of our walk!

A proper Winter wonderland walk! :-)
