A walk on the wild side

Well, we still have our snow today, although it will definitely be gone tomorrow when the forecast rain arrives, so we haven't bothered clearing the drive or anything and, it seems, the council haven't bothered doing the pavements either (do they usually, I can't remember?). We had a trecherous but otherwise pleasant walk in the sun down to the baker's this morning but have since been based at home.

This is one of the resident magpies, which seemed a good subject for Mono Monday, taken through the window in poor light at about 4 pm and faffed a little with Flickr photo editing. It possibly fits the theme for this week's challenge by being a natural scene and therefore the opposite of the one featured. Tenuous? Maybe!
