Not lurking

After an enjoyable morning watching England beat Sri Lanka in an absorbing test match (cricket, for the uninitiated) I went for a stroll in pleasant sunshine.  The chap standing in the shade of the bridge turned-out to be a former colleague.  We had a chat, which in the present fashion featured an account of which mutual acquaintances had recovered from Covid, who was getting a vaccine and when and other such pleasantries.

Home now, to cook a red lentil dahl to accompany a butternut squash curry for tonight's Veggie Monday dinner.
