Simplicity
In this busy world it’s good for the soul to just sit and watch the sun go down and the end of the day arrive.
It has been the most beautiful day. The first working day of the lockdown saw empty streets, not much traffic apart from the few doing essential shopping. All those who can are working from home. Those who can’t have to stay at home unless they are an essential worker.
The cargo boats arrived and the empty shelves in the supermarkets were filled once more.
The vaccination centre opened in the sports hall and the next group of people were attending appointments.
Extra testing sites were brought into commission and mass testing has been going on all weekend. Schools seem to be central at the moment and 48 more cases have been found through contact tracing. Many families across the island have been put into isolation by being a contact of a known case. They will stay isolated for two weeks.
Yes it is good to watch the sun go down on this beautiful day.
