The challenge promoted my thoughts to The Mermaid in Wells - yet another public house no longer in business - apparently had planning permission a while back for housing and then opening again as an Inn - but  todate it looks as above "sad and forlorn"  - my interpretation of today's mono challenge - Thank You Mothermudd for the challenge
