Reward

I thought it was about time I went for a walk. After 10 minutes walking uphill in the bitterly cold wind, I was tempted to turn around and go home, but decided to persevere as once I’d got to the highest point, the rest of my walk was mostly downhill, and either sheltered or with the wind at my back. I was rewarded with fine views - this is the Loxley Valley and the Dark Peak beyond - and two birds for my year list - Buzzard and Lapwing.
