We’re in Yarraman. This is pretty much the end of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. There’s still a couple more sections left to ride. It’s been a good month of socially distanced activity travelling through a series of pioneer towns that were big in logging and agriculture back in the days of rail.

The temperatures have been steadily 18 degree minimums overnight and around 30 degrees in the afternoons, so the cycling has been early in the mornings

We’ll be home again in another week. Schools are about to resume after summer holidays, so we’re going to spend the last week at a beachside caravan park.

The Lockdowns in Sydney and Melbourne appear to have done the job and community acquired Covid cases are back under control there until next time. Cases in Queensland are back to zero. Returning travellers remain our biggest issue. New cases are announced daily in the quarantine hotels. Vaccinations are due to start in February.
