This lunchtime I ventured into town for a trip to a [national high street pharmacy chain] and found brand a new busker in full pelt - and that doesn't happen every day, let me tell you! This fine old gent was throwing himself into a quavery rendition of some heartfelt, vaguely Italian-sounding ballad. It might have been 'My Way', although I can't quite remember, to be honest with you :/
Whatever the choon was, I'm not sure his efforts were entirely appreciated by the mid-afternoon retail therapists meandering beneath leaden skies...
