A Man And His Dog On The(ir) Beach

What is becoming a weekly trip to Maine.  Another car load delivered, a meeting with the contractors to go over permit details (to build a deck, and to make a flagstone terrace at Periwinkle Cottage), and to discuss electrical  outlet placement for the new kitchen there.  Afterwards we popped in to check on Sweet Haven and Portside.  Here you can see Mr. W and Mabel having a leg stretch on our very own beach!  Mabel really would have liked to have had the opportunity to go in the water, but it was far too cold for such shenanigans, and besides, the thought of a 2 1/2 hour car ride back to Boston with a wet dog in the back seat was not appealing to the bipeds amongst us!
