December BulbBasket

I’ve enjoyed the hyacinths and tulips and am now enjoying the amaryllis in my December Bulb Basket.

Today has been a real dreich day so a good one for baking. I made a couple of pecan pies. One was for Jim as he had spent Saturday helping Runyon remove his old glass sliding door and getting the new one put in place.

Jim walked over when he got the message that the pie was ready for pick-up! I will give the other one to Runyon. I will make a couple more tomorrow.

I began emptying the hutch in the front bedroom but it’s a slow process. It’s not a full speed day for me either which doesn’t help.
