Saturday was a stroll down the Seine, followed by the long-awaited arrival of my dear friend B (plus creme eggs) to Paris! Cue wine and catch-up continuing into Sunday, with a now habitual flurry of snow (welcome to winter in France) as a backdrop to a first-time brunch trip to the wonderfully convivial Soul Kitchen. Feast your eyes on this, and go and try the lemon cake and Lait Speculoos that I couldn't resist ordering with it!
