Meet Flapper

After my GP's appointment I made my way over to The Tannery to look for Flapper. While I was there I had a wonderful coffee and sandwich.

Design Inspiration
The inspiration for this design came to artist Penny Cameron in one word: “Flapper”. She has always wanted to complete a glass and bead mosaic inspired by the gorgeous clothes of the Roaring Twenties, and a penguin presented itself as a perfect match, as anyone who has seen them flapping around will agree! Flapper has been painted and then adorned with iridized glass and ceramic mosaic, pearl and wired beads for the body/skirt and sequins for the headband.
