Bee on mint

Our local community garden has a dry patch along a fence in the parking area where not much grows. We plot tenders occasionally throw in a bit of herb or a succulent because they are hearty enough. The last week in Adelaide has been pretty hot, but we got some rain yesterday, finally. And now this bit of mint has some flowering tops. The bees were out in force today. This guy managed to stay still long enough for me to capture him with my phone using the VSCO camera app, no filter.
