Lockdown iconography

Hambledon, parents’ village have decided to keep the Christmas lights on for lockdown and it is a glittering, if slightly disconcerting sight.  Just how long will they be on?  There comes a time when you just want to put Christmas, behind you.  Especially this Christmas.  Today was bright and sunny and I strode out after lunch with Mum and Dad happily sitting reading.  It was an extremely busy day nonetheless getting the house ready for handover to X and S coming to bubble up with the parents (it’s in the rules). Primary was going into Denmead, in their car to buy bird seed which felt like a trip to Regent st.   V picked me up at 6 with X/S half an hour away   It was lovely to be home and to see all the improvements that V has made in the house with many more boxes unpacked.
