Something careless this way comes...

Monday: over 7000 final year students given confirmation and location of first two years of doctor jobs. Delightful. Whole new SJT application system hailed as a "great success". Everyone is a bona fide genius.

Tuesday: over 7000 final year medical students given the news that previous confirmation was potentially false and that job location and even job security were uncertain, pending manual re-marking of a subset of SJT exams and possible reallocation of all 7,250 of us. Previous exaltation of SJT success disappear without a trace as the masses are told to "wait and see what happens".

Wednesday: who knows...my guess is that some heads are going to be rolling.
