Serpent in the woods

We still have snow here in Hampshire. It was a fine drizzly rain today which thawed the snow a bit so we did a circular walk and came up through the woods behind our house where the woodcutters have been busy.

Some imaginative person made a serpent. Fortunately he was sleeping when we quietly passed him!
