Where are my sultanas? Says Mr Blackbird.
Our blackbird was on the bottom grass near the patio window mid afternoon, after we got home from my driving Stephen to the local hospital to have his Covid 19 vaccination.
I waited in the car park.
It didn't take long.
Mr Blackbird was searching in the snow for any sultanas that had been put out there just before we had the heavy downfall of the snow.
I watched him as he managed to dig out one or two!
It's a slushy, gloomy, mucky, late afternoon now, with mist and moisture hanging in the air as the temperatures have risen a little more above freezing.
The beautiful pristine snow of the past two days being replaced by soggy greyness.
Although there are still some huge snowmen standing around in a lot of the gardens here.
Snow still sits atop the hedges and some roofs,. Next door's car roof is still covered.
It's underfoot where it is so slushily melting.
The side roads are passable by driving down the middle.
I am feeling much better today, and seem to have got over the yuckiness of yesterday, thankfully.
I'm still catching up with blips as there are so many good ones out there each day!
Almost teatime, so I'll stop here.
One more day and the family all return here once more for us to help out with some home schooling and in general.
They will be with us for 8 -10 days.
So tomorrow is a rest day!
All the other practical preparations have been done.
In the meantime, Almost one week on from the Inauguration of President Joe Biden, Impeachment papers for Trump, were taken to the Senate.
