2018-05-25 (Day 145) Chess The Musical

I had the inestimable privielege of seeing Chess The Musical being performed at the Coliseum Theatre, London, this evening.

A freidn from University - Martin - bought me a ticket to see Chess on the West End as a birthday present back in 1986. Today, I was able to return the favour.

We flew from Edinburgh to London this morning, and mooched around the city for a while. Then we went in to see the show.

It was superb. Every aspect of it was magnificent; I do not have enough superlatives to describe the show. The performances were all amazing, the direction wonderful... truly a splendid performance.

There are rumours it might be going on tour. I do hope so!
