Contrasts

Today I put my thick coat on, my heavy socks, boots, gloves and warm hat and set off for the post office. It was wet and cold. I was somewhat bemused therefore when I looked up and saw that the person in front of me was decidedly less warmly dressed than I.
That was my only trip out today. I made a big pot of carrot and coriander soup this afternoon and generally kept myself warm and watched all the afternoon quiz shows. Amazing how you can get full scores while sitting comfortably on the couch at home.
We're having early dinner tonight then it's time for bridge.
