Radiating

A close up of one of the flowers posted on Friday and Saturday, now in full bloom. The set up of the petals is like those of straw flowers but it is a different flower/plant, the actual stalk ends as a woody branch. I've put it through all plant ID apps I know and through Google image but so far I have no ID. For Tiny Tuesday, diameter is abut 1 inch (2.5 cm). With thanks to  LoisBiz for hosting in January :-)

After dark there is a lot of mayhem in The Netherlands since the introduction of the evening curfew,  because rioting scum have taken to the streets to fight the police, press, medical centres and to plunder shops. It is incomprehensible , many of them seem to be youngsters, so where are their parents, why do they let them get away with this ? Apparently according to experts we should understand that people, especially youngsters are frustrated and angry with the government and the establishment because they have no perspective, but surely anyone with a working brain cell would know that violence and plunder are criminal offences and have nothing to do with demonstrating for freedom. That staying home in the evening now is the way to gain the freedom we all want as soon as possible ... It is all so sad.

To end more positively, I drove over to Jack and parents to bring home made apple sauce for Jack, now that he can start on his first fruit and veggie snacks and beef rendang for his parents. And he liked the apple sauce :-)
