Nut/bolt

A dull, damp day, frosty morning.

Had breakfast, went for a walk with S. as the forecast was better for this morning.  Walked by the church I photographed yesterday to the next church All Saints.  Had a really interesting distanced chat with a stone mason who was workiing on the church, he had an apprentice with him who has nearly finished his training and had won an award.  Took the blip of an old door and the face was in the stones by the side of it, one each side.  Had some rain whilst we were out but more in the afternoon, so made the right choice.  Made a lasagne when I got in, spoke to two friends on the phone and have gathered the ingredients for a traybake, was going to do it today but run out of time and energy!
