Brown John

I'm staying with my Mother, so I can take  her to have her Covid -19 vaccination  tomorrow. She's  just produced, from a cupboard, her old teddy, known as Brown John, who is wearing a jumper she knitted him as a child. As you can see, Brown John is well- loved and quite elderly, pushing 88, I think. I've been teasing my Mother she wants to take him with her to the vaccination centre, so she can cuddle him  when she has her jab. She is adamant he is staying at home!
