2018-12-08 (Day 342) Kerse Bridge
This is the old sea lock of the Forth and Clyde Canal where it met the River Carron. Now, with the canal being realigned to go through the Kelpies, there is a different route that goes directly out into the Forth and avoids going under the Kerse Bridge - as you can see the clearance here is just over 1.5m, so not many barges would get under the bridge just now!
The bridge itself carries the M9, so if you have ever driven past and seen the Kelpies on the south side of the motorway, this was the bridge you might not even have realised you were on!
