Tresta Winter Wonderland

A dusting of snow in Scalloway over night, with more out west.  A really cold day, flat calm, and sunny all day.  Clear, calm and cold tonight.

I went out early this morning, starting work at home a bit later, and working longer this evening.  Met mam for a late lunch walk.  A quiet evening by the fire, and some more walkies with Sammy.  One more Coronavirus case in Shetland today.  Today would have been Lerwick Up Helly Aa, but cancelled due to Covid-19.  To mark the occasion, the town hall played the UHA songs from the tower bells, and the raven banner flying over Lerwick.

A fine winter wonderland walk this morning, so calm and peaceful.  This is very unusual for Shetland, and wonder if it has anything to do with the lack of planes in the skies? Whatever is giving us this lovely cold weather, keep it coming.  Looking over the snowy trees at Tresta.
