Lunchtime Walk
We were just about to go up to bed last night when the news started coming in about the riots at the US Capitol in Washington. Nutters egged on by Donald Trump. How much lower can he go?
So we stayed up too late watching in horror.
Then we had a terrible night with Archie. He was horribly sick on my bed (nice!!) at about 1am, then again - on the floor where I cruelly shoved him when he started retching - a bit later.
Mr K took him outside after that and he was out there for ages eating grass. Which he threw up again in the early hours.
He's seemed like a little ragdoll today, clearly feeling very sorry for himself.
Thankfully he hasn't been sick again.
And he took our arm off for the cooked chicken we gave him for dinner which was a good sign.
So apart from a quick walk to the post office at lunchtime I've spent the day on the sofa with poorly Archie. I hate it when he's ill, it's like having a poorly baby again who can't tell you what's wrong. It has always made me incredibly anxious with an overwhelming sense of impending doom!
It's why Mr K deals with all the poorly people and animals in this house!!
