Rings

Was asked to photograph some rings for the wife's blog... the set decoration was hers, the shot mine :) I was going to build some kind of makeshift lightbox out of some white sheets and my single strobe first, just to get those great highlights, but then she turned on a lamp and suddenly the available light was just perfect. I processed with vivid colors to really boost the effect.

As an afterthought, the DoF could maybe have been a tad bigger to bring the snake's head into sharp focus too, but I don't mind, I like it like this.
