Taken from the rockwall

This shot is taken from the rockwall looking back to town (much better in large). It started of grey and drizzling rain again today but I just had to get out of the house so in a break we headed out to go for a walk on the rockwall (took our raincoats too). Just as well - as soon as we started walking down came the rain again so we quickly put them on and walked in the rain - very refreshing I must say, and then half way out it stopped so that was even better. We made it to the end of the wall and half way back and then the sun came out - quite amazing as the storm clouds were still hovering around us. I managed to get some nice shots but chose this one because it shows some of the nice patterns in the rocks. If you look large you will see the Surf Clubhouse tucked into the corner of Main Beach and of course the lighthouse and water storage tank on the top of the hill. You'll also see that the sea here is still very muddy but amazingly around the corner from this area, the water at Pippi Beach is nearly clear!!
