As I'm at work all day and even worse got a meeting late this afternoon <groan> I thought I'd have a go at wide Wednesday to save too much thinking of what to post.  The theme is 'about the house'. 

These shelves are in view everytime I look up from the computer or indeed the sewing machine on non work days, so are looked at constantly and therefore barely seen at all.  As well as books and sketchbooks these also house the stash of homemade jam and chutney that doesn't fit in the kitchen so this covers both the sow and the sew aspects of my account. 

My camera is just the one on my phone so the wide part of it comes from cropping the image. Thanks to Bob's Blips for hosting :-)
