A WASP!

If someone told me that I would stand 30 cms from a wasp with a steady hand taking photo of said wasp I would have laughed in their face! I literally had a mortal fear of them. As I have gotten more experience with my macro lens I have become more and more aware of what insects co habitat with us everyday. I observe and I watch looking for a good shot and I have learnt so much!! One of the things I have learned is that wasps are only aggressive if provoked. Its the same with bees. I was much less afraid of bees so my fascination with them. So here is my first decent up close picture of a wasp!
