Buzzard #17
Lockdown 3.0 Day #23
This morning we were a bit naughty and ventured 5 miles in the car to Pickering’s Pasture (still in Halton, so technically I’m sure it is classed as local). Then we walked towards the screen but there was already someone sitting there with a big lens who looked as if he was not going to move, so we carried on and walked towards Hale along the main road instead. The weather was perfect for walking - no wind and about 8 degrees, but the light was rubbish for photography, especially with the SX70 as it is not good in poor light. However, we had a successful walk clocking up over 12,000 steps and adding 6 new birds to this years list taking us to 57.
Most of my shots were awful as most things were too far away in the light, so the only one I think is just about OK is this buzzard who was sitting in the tree line on the marsh.
