Zachs tea

Long day in obs today. Was non elective day but they still managed to find an elective to do. Had brand new trainee with me today and so spent the whole afternoon running through epidural design and the whole process from start to finish. By the end of the day he actually looked like a safe pair of hands. He just needs a good run of doing epidurals now to get his confidence up. I like having absolutely fresh trainees who have never even held an epidural before. They have no bad habits to iron out! Got home and Zach had made tea for everyone. His pasta dish gets slightly more extravagant each time he makes it, but always tasty. Played a game of Dixit to all unwind after busy days and then watched another episode of Designated survivor which dropped an absolute bomb shell on us. Both went to bed feeling a bit harrowed lol.
