Farewell Paloma

Not the free flight we had hoped for but a very peaceful sleep & the vet let me hold Paloma .I was a long time there the questions were answered honestly. Yes the loss of  this pigeon had me in tears. I walked  got a coffee ,then sat thinking .All pain gone but how I will miss the lovely face and eyes The sky was turning red and so I blipped a little cloud where if you look there's  a bird ?   On arriving home the moon was shining through the trees .It had a wonderful halo .It has been my privilege to get to know this bird .All life is precious . Thank you Paloma for helping me .
