Hope.....

...in the air. Mum had her first COVID vaccine today aged 94 :) 
She had been a bit anxious the last few days but was great today and very relieved after it was done I think. Given that she is the generation who saw the advent of many vaccines and the eradication of illnesses like yellow fever in the world as a result. She was also involved in nursing patients in iron lungs during the big polio epidemic in the late 40's I think it is historic that she should receive this ground breaking vaccine as well. ....what a span of history she has seen and experienced.
 I must admit to a real sense of relief that within 2 weeks her chances of contracting the virus will have reduced hugely. 
The blip is a little rainbow which was lying outside the GP surgery ....sadly it seems to have had a run in with the recent frost and cracked :(
