2019-03-02 (Day 061) A History

I picked up some of my parents' old phones today, and gathered them alongside some of ours. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them!

The one that is missing is my Nokia 7650. That was the first popular camera phone. I saw them being manufactured before they were on general sale and realised that they might change the world a wee bit - I had no idea how great their impact would become.

These days, we have become pretty much a 100% Apple family. While they are not perfect, they tend to be pretty good - I reluctantly admit. And I know that as a software engineer I should be pushing open standards, but the level of integration that their systems have is a joy to behold.
