With Luna at Puppy Day Care we embarked on a six mile walk taking in foot paths, pavements and then the river path from Ipswich to Sproughton. The river path was very muddy in places and the part opposite my garden was difficult to negotiate with quite a lot of lying water and deep slippery mud. Such a shame as it is usually a good walk.
The mill at Sproughton was built in the late Georgian period in red brick and the Flemish style and was in use as a water mill until 1947. About 20 years ago and after much controversy it was converted into a residential dwelling.
